It isn't our problem, we should move out!
Everyone is human, or so we are led to believe. Humans have a way of misleading and destroying the livelihoods of their fellow humans.
While there are religious zealots in this world who sit on their duffs doing nothing but fuming about those things that tick them off, there are equally as many zealots who go after world trade centers and even moreso, other zealots who try to avenge their fathers by starting a war in a country that is minding its own business...
Right now, we have a majority of the U.S. Military involved in some dispute in some other country. While we are the most powerful country in the world, we are also the ONLY nation that has military troops somewhere in nearly every other nation on the planet.
I do support the men and women who entered the military believing they would be defending their homes, their families, their rights to live life how they want to, the rights of all Americans... But I do not support the idiots who have control over those troops and do things and lie about things to manipulate how the troops and the public view the actions and consequences of these stupid choices.
Invading Iraq was both a vendetta Bush had against Saddam, because "Daddy said so" as well as a way for him to secure his own family's oil interests in the Middle East.
Right now, I get the impression that the reason OIL has risen in the last 11 months of Bush's reign of power is that he is lining his pockets with blood and oil money before he gets canned.
That's just how I see it.
