Who Discriminates More: Privileged Class vs Minority Groups
It is assumed that discrimination still exists, but who is the bigger contributor?

People who feel victimized will exaggerate and use it as a crutch.

In case anyone has failed to notice... The laws favor "us" (The Wealthy)

They are passing this on to their kids!

Privileged Class are still the worst. Anything the other side says is only to counteract the questi

-- Posted By primus on September 23, 2007We discriminate against anyone who is not of our social class by keeping you where you belong. While there are more of you to whine it is we who hold your leashes and are therefore the masters of discrimination. .
I think that both sides discriminate, the effects of either parties are such different.
-- Posted By Alice on December 29, 2007Both sides discriminate equally, but differently. The upper class is often raised to look down on lower classes and racial groups. Sometimes this is accidental and simply a repeating side effect of comments passed down from parent to child. Of course there are always people to train themselves not to discriminate and eventually learn without conscious effort to not judge others. Lower classed people discriminate by categorizing ALL wealthy as being arrogant and snobbish. Both parties are at fault.
The minority groups are
What I can't understand is how it is unexceptable for a white person to raise their children to be wary of the minority, but it is perfectly acceptable for the minority to warn their children about 'The Man.'. Children aren't intrinsically born with the need to discriminate. It is learned behavior. And I would hope that it isn't something being taught in our schools, so it must be learned in their private lives. But how are we ever going to have equality if one side is always talking crap about the other?

Care to support this claim?
Secondly, can one side be blamed for "always talking crap about the other" when they have suffered generations of atrocities? It's not as though the crap they are talking is without basis. The United States IS a racist country, and I hope this is still obvious. This is not a white person's problem or a black person's problem. This is an American problem that requires all of us.

-- Posted By lindsayloo14 on September 10, 2007Minority groups, whether they are truly being discriminated or not, will exaggerate any unkindness they receive, because it's an easy way to get sympathy and a false upper hand.
There is more prejudice among the Minority groups than the Priviliged. It's the old victim mentality
-- Posted By Perdie on September 20, 2007Too many minorities have been taught to play the race card no matter what the issue. In the attempt made by non-minorities to bend over backwards to be fair it has made them an easy 'guilt' touch. Minorities still carry prejudices against them . and use their guaranteed guilt to un-level the playing field that has so carefully been leveled for their benefit. .
When one is indoctrinated into the rubbish that people are going to treat them differently, you have a self fulfilling prophecy working against society. Bad service at a restaurant in the eyes of the non-minority is chucked up to the server having a bad night or just general sucking. In the eyes of the minority, it was because they were of the wrong color or persuassion. There are so many reasonss why you didn't get the job, didn't get the raise, didn't get the service you wanted at the store. It doesn't always have to do with race and nationality!
Minority groups shout loudest about injustice, yet are keenest to avoid any integration
-- Posted By visionary1 on September 10, 2007Every day we see minority groups shouting that they for example "should be able to administer their community with Sharia law"
What Stone adulteresses to death? They wonder why that creates ill feeling!!
I hate to say I've heard, on many occasions, a sentence start out with, "I don't mean no harm but......." and usually ends up with something like "white people smell like baloney." If this is the kind of thing said in front of me, what do they say behind my back about white people? And what are they teaching their children?
Reverse racism is alive and well.
My spouse is a minority while I am white. When I go to areas where it is mostly minority people I hear more racist and discriminating comments than when we go to places where there are few or no minority people.I was surprised about this since minority people are usually the first ones to holler that they are being treated unfairly...
Mostly minorities, but also alot of "the south will rise again" people
-- Posted By cbp on June 24, 2009It is mostly african american minorities that discriminate. My neigbhor is an African American and she likes to go around calling me a redneck just because I am white and in the military. Also she calls our apartment manager a wetback, just because she has hispanic heritage (she doesnt even speak spanish). She does pass it on to her children by just having them present while she speaks racial slurs.
